May 21st thoughts.
I've been taking Naltrexone for almost 2 weeks now. The one thing I've noticed is that it eliminates that extra high I used to get when drinking. It's hard to explain, I still get drunk when I drink enough, and can still feel a buzz after one or two. But that extra little high is gone. And that high is the high that would take over, that would cause the bad decisions, that would want more booze when more wasn't needed.
A few times I've noticed myself making rational decisions after a few drinks, like going home. There have been zero black outs in the last two weeks.
I have noticed a few things, My sex drive is way low a few days after taking it. I feel a bit more down, or blue if I take it for a few days in a row.
I also know I'm not exercising as much as I should, that needs to change.

Naltrexone
This blog is a diary on my use of Naltrexone to curb binge drinking. I am currently working with my Naturopathic Doctor in regards to this. This blog will be a journal on my experience with taking Naltrexone and how it affects my drinking.
This course of action is based on The Sinclair Method, and is taken directly from the book "The Cure for Alcoholism," by Roy Eskapa, PhD. If you want to know more google the Sinclair Method and Naltrexone.
Naltrexone, in the Sinclair Method, only works if one continues to drink. Thus this blog will be more for me and my doctor but might interesting to anyone else thinking of this.
